This book contained everything I wanted to know on the subject and some I didn't know that I wanted to know. You can tell the author has had substantial experience with Iboga. He gives advice for who is a good candidate and preparation needed for a session. He touches on how various drugs can stay in your system for months and makes recommendations switching to substitute drugs before coming to a session that are flushed out of the body more quickly. He gives a good description of the different phases experienced during a session, how long the effects typically last and advice for the new found freedom in the months afterwards. He gives a good description of the legal/unregulated status in various countries and talks about the spiritual benefits of Iboga, touches briefly on Ayahuasca and describes the difference between a hallucinogen like LSD and Iboga.Another reviewer said this plant is a gift from God, and I wholeheartedly agree. The entire time I read, I couldn't help but thinking of the true compassion he has on his children and the simple means he gave us to fully and completely heal ourselves. This was not the focus of the book, but my own thoughts.

Very informative account of a substance that has received almost no attention in western media. I'm curious if that will change in the next 25 years as its therapeutic benefits come to the attention of the medical/ rehab community. The book is an important first step!

I strongly recommend this book as well. It is a simple but I believe authriive account of the drug Ibogaine and deals both wikth risks and dangers as well as the possible befits of the use of substance.
I have read several books about ibogaine,psychedelics, this book its easy to read and explained very well about Ibogaine and addiction.
This is a great book for a someone interested in Ibogaine but may not know where to look for good information on it. So much information online is very misleading. Many ibogaine clinics are run by opportunists that make false claims (like ibogaine being a cure for addiction) and blast you with false expectations just to get your business. I suggest anybody interested in having an ibogaine experience to check this book out. It will help you to weed out the con artists, selective scammers and whack jobs just by knowing a few things here. I have some experience working in Mexico and Costa Rica with this beautiful medicine. Although it is not a cure that doesn’t mean you should look another direction. This is hands down the greatest medicine on the planet to help conquer your addictions, depression, PTSD and too many other challenges to name. Aftercare is as important as the treatment itself if long term recovery is your goal. I give it 5 stars because anybody can read this in a day and i feel anybody would be able to understand it. In fact, i have already shared it with a few people whom have shown an interest in receiving ibogaine. They agreed, it was a very informative and easy read.
